The ArchBlocks library was developed by Saddleback CAD. With over 20 years in the CAD Service industry, we always felt that there a need for better, more professional looking symbols in our drawings. So we developed this symbol library as a need to make our drawings look better, and in that sense, make our clients look better too.

You know, it just didn't seem right, you work with $3,000 software, and you see a kitchen plan where the range top is drawn as four circles and a rectangle. It looked like a kindergartner drew the range top! When we did our drawings by hand we would never spend time detailing a range top, so we kept it simple for speed reasons. In the first years of CAD we wanted our symbols to be simple because the computers struggled with large drawing files, but now there’s no reason, except drawing time constraints, to not have symbols with a good level of detail. The ArchBlocks library now gives you this level of detail with no loss of production time.

We also want to make a difference in this great world of ours. Therefore, we are donating 5% of the profits from ArchBlocks.com to Kids Konnected for their cancer support programs for kids that have parents with cancer. The money we donate will go directly to help pay for summer camp for as many kids as we can. It is a wonderful experience for the kids to meet other kids that are struggling with cancer in their family.

In addition, we are supporting the 1% For The Planet program and donating 1% of our profits to the Surfrider Foundation, to help keep our oceans and beaches clean for many generations to come. We are all here to make this a better world to live in and we want to do our part.
