ArchBlocks Commercial AutoCAD Electrical Symbols
This is a great starter set of AutoCAD electrical CAD blocks for commercial CAD design projects. There are 155 symbols covering several categories: switches, fixtures, outlets, circuits and raceways, telephone communications data, fire alarm, power, lighting, power, service equipment, and general set of CAD symbols. Also included is an abbreviations legend for commercial construction projects.
These symbols won't cover every symbol you need in your CAD construction design drawings, but they are a great way to get a quick start in creating all the electrical CAD symbols you need for your specific commercial projects. All the symbols are created on Layer "0" so they will automatically match the current layer properties that you insert them on. All the commercial design CAD symbol in the AutoCAD libraries are very easy to edit to match your specific CAD standards. The standard symbol size was draw at 12" so that if you insert them into a 1/8"=1"-0" typical AutoCAD construction document, the will print on your paper plots at 1/8" in size. The symbols will vary in size depending on what type of symbol you insert.
Also included is an AutoCAD .Dwg starter file with all the electrical commercial AutoCAD symbols inserted to help you quickly build an abbreviations and symbols legend construction document sheet. You can easily add, subtract, or edit symbols as you need to depending on your CAD standards for each project.
